Molly Tarlov is an American actress best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama show Awkward, since 2011. Tarlov was the first of two daughters, born and raised by her grandparents in Manhattan. In the year she turned 10years old, Tarlov started her acting career in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th year olds who watched the show were awestruck. She attended classes in Paris in the prestigious NYU Tisch as well as took part in summer camps during her teens at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She was trained in a variety of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company also taught her, in acting and helped her incorporate writing in to her acting through classes like the LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly sold her winter jacket and purchased a pair of dark sunglasses during her visit to Los Angeles. A three-word part in iCarly soon caught the eye of her parents. Molly has been on a variety of shows on television and also developed Caitlin for Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly loves to pretend that she is good at basketball, even though she's far from it. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
